Hi looking for advice. I developed a large bunion on the side of my foot at least 10 years ago and never had the operation as I am single and was told they would not operate unless I had someone to care for me - we are not all lucky enough to have a partner so this upset me. I have now developed a bunion on the other foot which is on top of the base line to the big toe. I work from home but have a cleaning job 5 nights a week to pay bills mortgage etc. My foot swelled at the weekend and I have a painful stress fracture. I have broken this foot a couple of times so it is weak but feel the bunions have caused this as my bones are not alligned. I know i need surgery on both feet but terrified I may not walk again and lose my second job.
