If someone I know has been on the sick from work for over 6 months handing in sick notes from their GP what would the reason be their employer are asking for access to the medical records? This person is always regularly with the GP and has seen the same GP for almost 3 years and is coming and going to different hospitals for different appointments at least twice a month if not more.
