Hip nerve pain.

I have shared my history of nerve pain on an AIBU thread on hip pain.

It is unbearable at the moment and runs down my leg, through my thigh, which is also numb, knee, awful pain in my shin through my ankle to my toes.
I have had no respite from the pain today.
At most I am left with most uncomfortable grinding sensation in my joints.

Has anyone tried Zen Maitreya? I am happy to try alternative treatments if they can give some relief. I take prescription painkillers, except for Naproxen as it destroys my stomac.

Any other ideas?
TIA

Have you had an MRI at all?
It might be wise to request one.
How long have you been in pain?

Have you tried magnesium?

I used to have horrendous hip pain, the sort where I couldn't even sleep on my sides, or walk for more than 5 minutes. It lasted for years and started to affect my shins and my feet too. A blood test showed I was seriously low in Vitamin D. I have to take it every day now otherwise that pain returns.

Ask your GP to do a blood test for all your vitamins.

Magnesium, Vitamin D, Curcurmin (turmeric active ingredient), glucosamine and chondroitin.

Is it bursitis? I struggled for so long in the end a simple cortisone injection sorted it

This sounds similar to my hip pain (currently waiting for surgery). Have you had an xray, MRI, any physio? I'd push for these if you haven't.

The link you shared is a natural remedy shop, I’m not sure how much use it would be. What about a deep tissue type massage and some dry needling?

@AgenceGrateau can I ask what your diagnosis is and what surgery you'll be having?
