Chronic pain
Pain in stomach after c section

Hoping someone has experienced similar and found help.
I underwent an emergency c section 7 weeks ago. After about 5 weeks post section i developed a pain in my lower right side, not near my scar. It only is sore when im moving, mainly rocking my LO to sleep, itll be so painful ill have to sit down. I am also severely constipated (sorry if tmi!)
I have been on lactulose, then 5 ducosate a day and now on a version of movicol. Nothing seems to be having the desired effects although I have managed to go, just not often.
Ive been to the GP twice and was referred to the hospital for bloods in case it was my appendix. Its not and they still are none the wiser.
I've now diagnosed myself with dr google as potentially having muscle adhesion which is potentially causing a blockage in my bowel and I'm terrified because it appears as if you cant do anything about it really.
Please tell me someone has experienced similar and came good 🙏 am I just severely constipated and thats causing the acute pain?

I think you should go back to see your doctor. Constipation can cause a huge amount of pain but I think you need to know for certain that’s what it is rather than it still being unknown.

Also had trouble after my c-section but wasn’t like yours unfortunately. It took them weeks to diagnose mines. They kept brushing me off as my incision site was ‘perfect’. Please keep on at them and hopefully you’ll get an answer.
it took me calling in absolute tears that I couldn’t pick up my baby as I was in so much pain. 3 rounds of antibiotics later and it finally cleared up.

Are you still on pain meds as this can also constipate you. I think constipation is adding to your so discomfort. See if you can get some milpar and see if the pain in your side is deferred pain. And congratulations on the birth of your little one
