knee pillow

I have arthritis in both knees, both hips and my pelvis, I can only sleep sitting up and never on my sides, problem is, although it relieves the hips and pelvis, my knees are so painful when I get up. I would like to try some kind of wedge type foam to keep them bent.
Does anyone have any recommendations for one, I got bamboozled by the amount available.

Sounds horrible.
Can you not just put a pillow under your knees? Am I massively over simplifying there?

I have one similar to this (hope the link works). I got it to elevate my ankle after surgery but also use it for my back. The back of your legs is supported by the sloping bit, your knees are at a comfortable angle and mine is long enough that my feet don't hang off the end.

Sometimes I just use an ordinary fat pillow under my thighs/knees.

Could you sleep on your side with a pillow between your knees? I can do this some of the time (back, hip and ankle problems). I have seen special pillows advertised that strap round your knee and sit between your knees (the strap keeps the pillow in place when you move).
