Depression

Anybody else suffering depression due to chronic pain and discomfort? It doesn't matter what specific problem you have, I just want to know if others have this feeling like daily it's a battle with the pain and discomfort and it makes you feel like phoning Samaritans or something because it's just too much to bear. Like yesterday I just broke down and cried because I am trying to be strong but how long do we have to just keep bearing this pain and discomfort? sigh

Yep.
I’m generally okay, and have pretty much accepted this is my life, but I’m having a particular bad patch atm. Constantly sobbing and saying to DH that I’m fed up of being like this/being in pain/having no life. I’m late 40’s.
Its been 7 years, not sure how much longer I can go on working but I can’t afford not to. Feel like my life is over. I see people a lot older who have more of a life because they are able to do more. It is depressing. I know I’ll shake it off and just carry on for a while before I get low again. It comes and goes.

Yes it's a difficult thing this chronic pain, everything is a struggle.
