I'm having ovarian pain, this has been going on for a month. I've been to the doctors twice, A & E once. I have a vaginal ultrasound booked for the 17th August. I've been taking codeine but it doesn't really help.

I’m sorry. I know how you feel. I have decided I cannot live in the pain that I do. I hope they realise one day what they have done.

Go back to the hospital. There is so much research being done about pain. Just don’t give up asking for help.
I had chronic pain with my back and had months off work. It’s now managed and I feel so much better. I’m so sorry you’re both suffering like this.

Sadly womens abdominal pain is persistently downplayed, under treated, and under recognised. The health system basically doesn't give a crap as soon as it's established to be a woman's issue. I'm sorry you're caught up in this x

I suffered from interstitial cystitis for three years. I was very close to suicide until the day it just stopped. Various GPS not interested in the least.
