Chronic pain
Recurring Abdominal Pain
Meemeee23 · 17/01/2022 13:55
Hi Everyone this is my first post
I wanted to ask as I'm very frustrated but I've had recurring abdominal pain since last September, I've been going to my gp many times since then begging for them to do something. I've had blood tests, medication and an ultrasound (which supposedly came back clear)
But the pain is still there, I don't know what to do, the gp are not helping either, they asked ME for advice
Any advice or ways I can go forward will be really appreciated

Is it a full ache? Sharp pain does it get worse at times of the month? Are your periods normal, pain during sex etc?
So tricky with stomach areas all we could do is put forward suggestions based on our own experience. In my case endometriosis caused me abdominal pains, would come and go, clear on scans and just keep getting worse and worse until it was unbearable.
Someone else may have IBS experience and can help or a grumbling appendix?

It's a sharp pain that does seem to increase at time of the month. Also my periods are irregular and heavy
Is it okay if I can ask how you were diagnosed with Endometriosis?
