Chronic pain

CBD oil for osteoarthritis

I have osteoarthritis with chronic pain; I take Naproxen and cocodomol to help. It used to take the edge off but now doesn't really touch the pain. I've heard that cbd oil could help but how do you know what to take or what strength to buy? Can I also take it with the prescribed medication too? I am due bilateral knee replacement and have been in pain for five years. My back is now extremely painful too and I think the 'wonky walking' has caused this!

I have spent hours researching it and have finally ordered some, which will be delivered Tuesday. I will let you know how I get on. My pain is mainly from osteoarthritis in the spine.

I’d like to know this as well as I have ankylosing spondylitis and have been thinking about getting CBD oil to help with my stiffness and aches

Yes please! I don't know whether it would be an immediate effect or require some time but would love to know how you feel about it, thank you.

It has arrived today! I have only had a very small dose so far as I needed to be able to drive this evening and was worried as to the affect. According to the information provided from the company you should feel the benefit from one dose so I will take the recommended amount this evening and let you know tomorrow how it has worked.

It's been a bit disappointing so far. Have had the maximum dose that they advise and not really had much/any improvement. I have heard that it can be worth trying different makes. I will continue with this one in case I get some benefit from having regular max doses over the day and will let you know what happens.

I take this CBD oil for sciatica pain. I started 5 drops three times/daily, now I take only twice or even once. It has been a lifesaver for me:

I bought 6000mg take 4 drops twice a day. Compared to some strengths should be doing amazing things. Can’t really feel a difference.

I needed more CBD oil at the beginning, three times the recommended doze. I still felt the pain, but not as acute as before. I needed less and less, thankfully, because it cost 70$ a small bottle... I needed at least two for the first month. Today, two months after I started it at the advice of my doctor, was the first day when I could function without any drops. I hope I won't jinx it Smile

I started taking cbd oil 10 days ago for a mixture of fibromyalgia bursitis tendenitis and facet joint arthritis and have been pleased with the results so far, I’ve had more relief than I expected and have been able to reduce my codeine intake during the day

I make and sell cannabalm, it's literally the only thing that helps my arthritis. Put it on 1st thing, and after 30 mins am good to go, and not creaky and stiff

I still take CBD oil occasionally, but not as regularly as before. I am almost never in pain anymore. It is not addictive. It gave my life back. I was using a cane to walk before.

I take this CBD oil for pain. I started 5 drops three times/daily, now I take very little, 5 drops 1-2 days a week at the most. It has been a lifesaver for me:

Oo I was thinking about this. Currently on naproxan, amatriptoline and 60mg codeine 4x a day for sciatica. I hate taking all of these painkillers and I'm unable to function properly with work.

Nerve pain. It started with a pinched nerve in my back, sciatica, then it developed in something more general.

I'll get some on pay day, I thought there wasn't a lot in the CBD oil that did anything and it needed THC as well for the best pain relief - but I do not want to become a stoner Grin

It is one of the highest potency CBD oils. I live in US. No funny side effects, and I don't take it regularly, only when I foresee a more physically demanding day. I used to take two Aleve-s for pain, or Tylenol/ibuprofen. I was offered stronger stuff by my doctors, as I could not move for more than a year without painkillers, but I refused. It was a vicious circle... I could not move, and that generated more pain. It also helped two of my closest friends, with other kinds of pain, so I think it is worth trying. I did try CBD localized cream, to no effect.
