I had injections because of arthritis. Bloody miracle! I went from being in tears because of pain and unable to take enough painkillers to live a normal life to maybe wanting paracetamol on a bad day. Good luck.

@Wolfiefan that's amazing! How long do the injections last?

I was told maximum of two years but that was more than 7 years ago. I’ve gone from awful nerve pain to nothing much. Wishing you the same!

@Wolfiefan thank you for providing a bit of hope on a painful day! I've just had my hip done and the pain persists. Next step spinal (and I already know I have 2 buglers on nerves!) Thank you Thanks

I’ve actually had two lots. They first injected slipped disks. Then when that didn’t work they went back and injected the arthritis. Miracle!

Good luck OP. I had three sets of injections and unfortunately they didn't have much effect, but I know people who have had life-changing improvements afterwards so I hope you get lots of relief.

When I had it done I had to lie face down on a bed and they used scanner etc to very carefully target the exact spot. I think the risk is tiny. Obviously every single medicine or procedure carries rare possible side effects.
