Take your pick of the above, as they all seem to have the same symptoms to be honest when I looked them up. Have been diagnosed with them all over the last 30 years.

Now to the point of the thread, I have iver the last 6 months or so had the feeling that the skin on my back is burning. As if I had intense sun burn. It dosn't look read, nor feel hot to the touch. Any idea's ?

I havn' t seen Rheumatologist for 2 years what with the pandemic, but I have finally after a telephone appointment with the GP, managed to book a f2f at the end of the month.

The Rheumatology Dept by the way had taken me off their books, my Dr informed me back in May ( I was not informed) as according to them I was stable and they didn't need to see me. Last contact with them I was due to have x rays on my hip!

Sorry I'm rambling, really wanted to know if anybody has experienced the burning feeling.

I’ve had that I think it’s nerve pain. Feels like skin is sunburnt and even fabric touching it hurts. There are some drugs can help with nerve pain. Luckily mine never lasted more days at a time.

Burning pain sounds like nerve pain.

I am on Gabapentin and Amitriptyline for nerve pain. It dampens it down but I still get pain and often strong stabs of pain. There is a limit to what they can do to help.

I am waiting as long as I can before I have to ask for my meds to go up, as nerve pain is life long and I don't want to run out of suitable pain relief in a couple of years iyswim.
