What are you doing for New Year?

We're spending New Year's Eve in but are all Wii-ed out and have had enough of trivia and cards. Looking for new ideas to keep the whole family entertained or any interesting new year traditions to share

I'm working NYE night and also NY day so not up to much!

Staying in here too.
We will be playing on the wii and having a few rounds of Rapidough. Great fun board game where you make things out of playdoh for others to guess. We have had such a laugh the last few days playing it.

DC will all try and stay awake until midnight too.

Err watching the telly, playing Uno moo (oh I love that game..AIBU to want to marry the inventor??)...DC's will (try to) stay awake, DD will, DS1 possibly, DS2....well HE got to 11.55pm last year, so maybe...then we always do party poppers. Maybe play uno extreme if I can get some 'C' batteries. Tesco's has apparently not had any sent to them for 3 weeks??!! Is there a national shortage or something??!!

i got c batteries in argos yesterday, 99p for 2

dh is working so i'm going to have a nice bath,couple of glasses of bailey's,some nice food and chocs and watch jools holland.
we're having our nye tonight dh is cooking and we're going to watch a film.
had a crap year so can't wait for it to end hopefully 2010 will be better

forgot all about rapidough, love that game, will get it out ready

I have the pleasure of working, alone, on New Years Eve. I am leaving my husband and kids alone whilst I am working.

Obviously i am devestated however we have decided to celebrate our new year on the 1st Jan
