Early tomorrow morning we'll be driving several hours to visit family, so we decided to have christmas morning this morning instead, anybody else doing it a day early?

My brother did it with his DC's on Tuesday, his DP is having chemo today and the DC's will be with his ex wife.

It's our first proper christmas at home - as ds is 2.5 he didn't really "get" christmas last year so this year is really exciting for all of us, and he just built his first snowman we aren't doing christmas dinner because mil will be doing it tomorrow, with help from me, so it's nibbly party food for tea, yay! I'm looking forward to my sad single glass of fizz later too

Sorry to hear about your db's partner, fivegomad, it's a shit time of year to undergo chemo (mind you, when's a good time...) Hope they all had a lovely time and made the most of it on tuesday anyway.

It was fabulous, sadly we couldn't go to lunch but they did the whole hog, so stockings etc and it snowed.

Merry (early) Christmas!! . I'm having 2 christmasses, Christmas day for DD and DS2, and Boxing day when I go to my mum & dad's and have DS1 as well!
