HumphreyCobbler · 23/12/2009 14:16

I am off to my concert in an hour. We have a babysitter booked who will feed and put kids to bed while we go out for a meal. Can't wait.

DisElfchanted3 · 23/12/2009 14:16

I hate you, severely.

Well, maybe not but I envy you.

MyCatHasARedderNoseThanRudolph · 23/12/2009 14:17

Oh fuck off

I have almost the bloody complete opposite of you at my house. I am demented with boredom and bloody housework.

JigglyPiggy · 23/12/2009 14:19

I have both dc, the whole house to sort and have'nt read more than 3 pages of a book in years.

I am about to brave xmas biscuit making with DD. She is feeling creative and has just made a dress for her barbie out of the chocolate orange wrapper naughty mummy has just scoffed

ShiriDoula · 23/12/2009 14:23

I join the loathing
have DS toddling about, and a HUGE dinner to cook for 10 people tonight, whilst cleaning the house, doing some laundry (Ironing is out of the question).

On the other hand, managed to do quite a lot: a chocolate-banana-tart is cooling whilst baby grabbing my pants and screaming, turkey tucked in the oven, kitchen cleaned, gravy done, baby fell off sofa and banged his head, baby is calm, a load of pasta with chicken and spinach was cooked and consumed by baby, kitchen has been cleaned again, living room vacuumed, baby tipped over Christmas tree, smashing most of decorations and tree on the way, living room vacuumed again, baby sticking a spoon in dog's ear, got the dogs out of the house, baby in play room.

CherryChristmasEveryone · 23/12/2009 14:25

i have 4 dc's, currently upstairs supposed to be tidying their bedrooms am in living room on my own, have cleaning to do but no motivation, have cooking to do but cant be arsed, beds to change but dont want to while the dc's are up there

orangina · 23/12/2009 14:47

LizzyLordsALeaping · 23/12/2009 14:48

I have almost finished my tidy/clean up
Then will have some baking to do in a bit (which I enjoy anyway) and then we're done.

Wish I could have a sit down with a Baileys though.......

Right, hoover awaits

tulpe · 23/12/2009 17:27

Forlorn Hope - I too have naff all to do

ALtho I do have my DCs with me. We have been for a walk in the snow-filled woods, delivered christmas cards around village, come home to hot choc & mulled wine (heavily brandy laden......god bless Nigella and her recipes ), and are now all sat in front of Home Alone.

Cookies, mince pies and muffins are defrosting on the kitchen worktop, DH will cook dinner later.

Oh and as DH is off work, and we were supposed to be in France now, he has developed Bored-itis and cleaned the house from top to bottom this morning

The most chilled CHristmas I have ever had!

FolornHope · 23/12/2009 17:56
