i didnt go yesterday, why didnt i go, i wsa going to go in the evening when dh came home but by my car was too icey i was scared

today is worse.

initially i was going to leave it til wednesday anyway.
anyone else not done their food shop?

My dh snatched my well earned G&T off me last night and demanded I go as he is on works night out tonight and there is no way I am going with ds in the day! Managed to get it all done I think, except the turkey which I am picking up tomorrow fingers crossed, otherwise everyone will be eating a plate of veg!

By the way I had only had a sip of G&T before I get accused of drink driving!

well i have a present to pick up 12 miles away, if i dont pick it up nearest shop is 5 miles.

so, frankly, no i don't want to can't.

Agree with Riven - see if you can walk to somewhere. Have you ordered the turkey?

waited for the thaw and drove the 12 miles to pick up prsent and grabbed a turkey.

I've been feeling a bit bad about the weather- managed to get my shopping sorted (yay) then it snowed and I culdn't risk the drive to my Mum's- and my sister'sgift is a home amde pudding / plum brandy / cake for her first ever hosted Christmas dinner.

Am hoping I can get there tomorrow. Mum says she can sort if not, but that has to be the worste ver gift to arrive late doesn'tit?
