2009 Christmas Carol film - how scary is it?

My sister in law has booked tickets for us all to go and see this tomorrow... I have just been told that it is Very Scary, and I am now worried that me and my 3 year old will have nightmares all the way through christmas... can anyone advise...?! Have you seen it yet? Thanks

I don't know how to link to another thread, but this movie was debated this morning on here.

Basically, I don't think it is a great movie to take Little Ones too. My 5 year old was terrified (and usually likes movies with a bit of scariness in).

It didn't fill us with Christmas Joy & Spirit, let's put it that way! Go see Nativity instead.
