Sad droopy tree, is there a way of perking it up?

anyone know a way of making the tree pick up a bit, just for a few days? It's been up since 1st December and is looking really sad and tired

Is it cut or rooted? The sainted and gorgeous Adrian Chiles toptipped putting a tiny bit of bleach in the water of a cut tree to kill micro organisms.

(take the lights off) and spray a bit of water on it?
