I used to live in Holloway and there was an newsagents on seven sisters road that sold all kinds of mad religious stuff.

Lovely plaster statues in lime green and orange. Light up Marys (now that does sound like a euphemisim), glow in the dark baby Jesuses and they must have had a few glittery ones in there too.

DD has a glow in the dark baby Jesus, which her friend Louise brought back for her from her Italian holiday - apparently the Vatican gift shop sold them in packs of 100, so all her friends got one. DD's is currently embedded in a candle in a glass on her bedroom shelf, not quite sure why...

Blimey Whoops didnt notice that one. Mind you when I was a Hollwayite it took a lot to grab my interest. You just kind of take weirdness for granted.
