psp games for 8 year ds for xmas?

I am loooking for a psp game that is suitable for my ds(8)as a xmas present I am beginning to wonder if have done the wrong thing in buying the psp alot of the games seem to be 12+, although he said he played the star wars elite squadron game at his friend's (think it is 12+) thanks in advance

DS2 is 10 and enjoys rachet and clank and secret agent clank. Any Fifa game. Mercury meltdown and everybody golf he enjoys too.
He Wants The Simpsons game and a spongeBob game!

There are quite a few games for under 12s.

Little big planet is meant to be good but we don't have it yet.

Little Big Planet on PSP is great. DD is 8 and loves it.
According to my BIL who asked someone at at Game the age rating for Star Wars games often is 12+ because lightsabers are supposed to be weapons...

thank you for your ideas I appreciate it, have ordered the little big planet and his grandparents will get the star wars game,that will be more than enough to keep him amused. I need to be more organised next year thanks again
