I think we're going to hire them from Oddbins, so it's a choice of ordinary wineglasses or highball glasses.???

I would derve in ordinary wine glasses, but my Mum always had punch glasses she used to serve it in

shouldn't you not put hot stuff in glass? I'd use mugs - get more in that way

mugs

GloriaInEccentrica · 18/12/2009 20:00

big ones.

I use large wine glasses.
Put a teaspoon in the glass as you pour in the mulled wine. Does what metal should and prevents glass from cracking if mulled wine too hot!

I'd use those thick tumblers that you can get really cheap in Ikea. You sometimes get them in 'American' themed places.

Asda wineglasses £2 for 6.

M&S do thick tumbler glasses that are ideal for this and only 50p apiece [http://www.marksandspencer.com/Marks-and-Spencer-Bubble-Tumbler/dp/B001LR4P0W?ie=UTF8&qid=126116716 7&categoryNodeID=&ref=sr12&page=&node=42966030&sr=1-2&mnSBrand=core&rh=]]
