i usually do my food sopping in asda or tesco, but this year dp wants to try somewhere new for the christmas food shop.

any suggestions?

locally we have a waitrose, m&s food, sainsburys and morrisons.

usually use tesco or asda as very local to home and work. dp hates asda with a passion.

prices not really a factor as dp is paying yay!! this is the only time he will dare come food shopping.

i usually get my christmas food from sainsburys, the quality is so much better than anywhere else

lidl and aldi are actually pretty good for party food. They have all the European style cakes - pannetone, stollen etc. It's a bonus that they are cheaper as well.

The best places to go are usually the local independents though, if you can face the hassle of going around several shops. You'll get great local meats, a fantastic selection of cheeses, cakes, pies etc. The closest you can get to homemade without actually making it yourself!

If he's paying - Waitrose all the way! Yay!
