Christmas party for kids...I'm doing a quiz, has anyone got any good questions?

I'm having a party at home next week for dss and some friends, should be around 15 of them? They ages 9 to 12. I thought I'd try to entertain them by doing a quiz. Does anyone have any questions or know of a decent online quiz that's up to date?

Also if you know any games suitable for these ages that don't take up too much room would be appreciated

TBH, that is quite an age range. What sort of subjects are you planning for your quiz?

I thought current tv programmes, pokemon christmas questions etc...

I'm putting them into 2 teams so there'll be younger ones with older ones. Then they can help each other.

I found some Christmas questions online and will try to find some current ones to do with tv ect... There'll be more boys and 2 to 4 girls so I won't do too many high school musical/miley ones

I'd do some Wikipedia searches on the kind of programmes they're into - for e.g. do they like Ben 10 or is that too young for them?

Also what about doing some questions where they have to search for the answers in your house? For example - do you have an Atlas? You could ask them a question that they have to look for the answer to in that.

Also what about doing a music round where you set up a playlist and play them the first few lines of a song? Or play them some cover versions and ask them to name the original artist?

This is a great site for quizzes. If you click on the topic you want, then click on printable at the top - it shows you all the printable ones. Also lots of audio ones on there too.

newsround have a quiz about the last 12 months on their site... haven't looked at the Q's as my boys are too young but some questions may work for you?
