Brilliant market. Lots to see, lots to eat! Though I thought they had less food last year but I'm a piggy!

I'm from Winchester and go once a year and it is good. v good local artisan stuff that you would actually want to buy iyswim and good mulled wine stalls etc.

But it is vvv expensive. It is the most expensive one I have ever been to and I go to Bath and London markets quite lot.

So am I ethelb :)
Couldn't comment on price as I haven't been to other markets.

I seems to remember lots of ceramics and woodwork. I know you can go to crap craft markets but these are very good. Some textile stuff and lots if beautifully crafted Xmas decs. But take A LOT if cash. There us also a v good farmers Market 10 mins walk away on some sundays in December.

They have a skating rink with the Christmas market, it is fab right next to cathedral. You need to book though. Market very expensive and busy, but very good
