Please can you give me some suggestions bearing in mind that I'm probably the least creative person ever. So much so that DH takes pity on me and wraps all the Christmas Pressies.

It needs to be cheapish and easily available.

Do you mean individual toffees? Little ones?

Cling film, twist the ends & tie colourful ribbon on each end.

go to florist and buy some cellophane and thing ribbon

Ivana, its pieces of fudge, is that the same as toffees? Not sure.

Ggirl, we've actually got a florist in this small suburan hellhole town that my DH thinks we should live in. Thanks for the suggestion will pop in there after school.

Lakeland sell festive cellophane stuff for this sort of thing.

Poundland do a pack of three small glass jars for you guessed it a pound!!

or

Asda do large glass jars for £1 each.

grease proof paper tied up with really thin ribbon. i got ribbon for hanging christmas decorations and it was really cheap, about a euro for two metres. so wouldn't break the bank

MaggieAnFiaRua · 19/12/2009 11:44

ps i got a really thin tartan ribbon which is very christmassy.

Thanks for all your help. I got the cellophane and ribbon from the florist.

Made the fudge but didn't boil it for quite long enough.

The result was very soft fudge that would not come out of the dish very easily so couldn't use it. Its a real shame, we had to scoff the lot

Am going to have another try at making some for my Mum.
