I am stumped for something for him to get me and I need some ideas!
On my list I have bio-oil and that is it.

I am 20 weeks pregnant with 3rd dc (the last) and refuse to get anything new to wear now, although I need new underwear it does seem rather pointless.

I wear little jewellery - have few extra things I wear on the rare occasions I go out.

Mil will have bought me perfume - I do not wear much anyway so have about 3 bottles in stock.

We have no games consoles in the house and as much as I know I would play with a nintendo DS; my 4 year old dd wants one and we have said not until she is older. It does seem rather unfair to get one when I have said no to her.

Any ideas?
I may end up with something horrendous if I do not give ideas - once got a strawberry face mask for my sensitive skin....

Not clothes - am pg and cannot justify for remainder of pregnancy when I have things from previous pregnancies.

On my Christmas list I have:

M&S nightshirt

A particular Whistles coat (ha ha ha ha ha, like that's going to happen)

Duo boots

Fly London shoes

Electronic pepper grinder

Mature tree for the garden

Bike shed

Fleetwood Mac Rumours cd (for the car)

Boxed set of Hitchcock movies

L'Occitane milk bar soaps

Crabtree & Evelyn Jojoba shower gel and body lotion

any of those give you any ideas?

Book token and a written babysitting 'cheque' so that you can have a day afternoon browsing in the bookshop solo

Tickets for you both to a gig/show/ballet/film (again plus babysitting organised by him)

Really nice small cooking tongs - Zeal do good ones - or other nice cookshop stuff. My dad once bought me a lovely marble cheese 'board'/lazy Susan. Fab. And I am not a foodie.

Weekend survival course- I really want one of these

tassisssss · 16/12/2009 22:23

I like bags and shoes when pregnant (well anytime actually!)

and books

and chunky bracelets or a new watch

or hats, gloves and scarves

or cake plates at the moment (cupcake stand in lakeland, tiered cake plate from laura ashley and I got the best raised cake plate last year from whittards)

also like sanctuary range for shower gel and bath stuff but not lotions

if you need new underwear you should just get some, get cheap stuff from tesco and chuck after the baby

hormonalmum · 16/12/2009 22:30

Lovely ideas thank you all.
I do not have a watch - so that is promising, especially given my mobile is not very reliable (dear bro is taking care of that for me!)
Hat etc - good idea

I do not want to sugggest anything for garden as I have bought dh loads for garden and do not want to duplicate.

Super thank you.

I'm hoping for a pregnancy massage at our local beauty salon; they are fab and really quite indulgent.

tiredemma · 17/12/2009 10:03

DP made the mistake of taking DS1 with him shopping for my presents. Ds has let it slip.....

hormonalmum · 17/12/2009 14:22

Oh TE, hope that you get what you wanted!

Have settled on a hat, books and some moisturiser. I also suggested a voucher for a local shop that stocks our dinner service.

Thanks to everyone for their ideas. Have added more ideas to my 'birthday list' which isnt too far off!

I had to order all mine on line and has paid

I chose boxsets and a stunning replica 1940's handbag from past times. They have some really stunning bits and pieces if your into girly things & house bits and bobs.

honie · 17/12/2009 20:10

'and he has paid'
