DD is 5. She's asked for a toy computer - one with keys that she can press. Has anyone any experience of these? Are the 3-6yrs type limited in what they do? Actually - what DO they do?

I strongly dislike Vtech. They are advertised as educational but they really aren't, they are very limited in what they do and are not age appropriate. DS was given one for 3 - 6 year olds but he can't do it, gets frustrated and bored very easily. When he did master it, it was no longer interesting IYSWIM because it's so repetative.

I would shop around if I were you.

Thanks. There's one in argos for £14.99 for aGED 3-6 yrs. I'm worried she'll grow out of this quickly but I wonder if the 6 yrs plus is too much for her. She's only just turned 5. Any other recommendations?
