Do you leave money for the milkman/ rubbish / recycling/ collection people. If so how much and do you just leave it out?!

Got a card from our milkman this am and DH said he would be hopeful for a Christmas box. Help please I have no clue!!

Fiver?

Is that what you do? Do I just put it in an envelope and put it out with the empties? Some LittleShit one might Nick it?!

If you are up early enough just give him a christmas card with the fiver in it. Or leave it in the empties last thing at night.

Same problem here; this is the first Christmas that I've had a milkman. I don't have empties as he delivers cartons so I was planning to get up early enough and stick the envelope to the front door. Our door is round the side of the house so should be safe enough for half an hour

i don't do the refuse collectors, just milk and postie

Our milkman is very early or late depending on your viewpoint. Sort of 2 onwards. Maybe I will stick it in an empty. Is a fiver enough?

My neighbour also does rubbish people but only because he thinks he will be looked after by them. I expect it's not like that!
