DD has just turned 8 and she got at her request Polly Pocket things, she was also given craft sets, jewellery making, wind-up radio.
for Christmas she will receive perfume factory, fossils, and she has asked for new colouring pens, Kluts Fashion kit books. (leaving out of list all electronic, books or clothes items)
so actually there are relatively few 'toys' in the list.
earlier this year she said she wanted an old fashioned doll, I would have got her a cheapish collectable porcelain headed one where the clothes come off, but she says she has changed her mind.
Would board games, science stuff (eg telescope, microscope, metal detector), kits, craft things be a better bet than toys?
