13yr old Nephew. what to get him, if anything!

Haven't seen my sister or nephew for about 3 yrs despite them living about 8 miles away! My Sister doesn't want to know my DD1 or DD2 because their Dad (xp2) was violent towards my DS1. She rarely remembers either DS's birthdays either!

I sent nephew a Birthday card and £5 for his birthday in Nov.(I assume he received this but haven't heard anything!)

Now have the dilema of what to do about Christmas!

I know my 4 DC will get nothing from her, we may get a card.

So what, if anything, should i send to her DS?

Could you not call your sister to discuss?

Send nothing. Or just send £5 again and if she still doesn't say anything, then don't bother again.

Can't ring her, she doesn't want to know me. Don't fully know the reason why apart from my Mum said it was to do with XP2! Which is stupid because he was removed by courts 4 yrs ago!

Maybe will send £5 in a card again then.
