DH has just asked me for something for christmas that i already got him that was supposed to be a super duper surprise! Surprise ruined.

it's an electric guitar. he used to have one a long time ago and had to sell it to pay the rent as a student.

Give Anita Dobson a ring. See if she can spare Brian May on Christmas morning.

Then get Brian to come and give him a personal lesson on the new guitar.

I told him that I was a bit miffed that he'd asked for an electric guitar because now the thing i had bought him might not seem so exciting. I reassured him he will like his present but i'm sorry i hadn't thought of an electric guitar. I suppose i could return his other gift, but i think he'll like it too.

Just need to make sure he doesn't decide to treat himself!
