I'm normally a bit of a misery chops in the run up to Christmas but came across this website and it really made me feel a little Christmas Spirit...

lovely website for kids

I did this for my 2 and the older one (DD 5) was actually crying, telling me how special she felt knowing Santa knew who she was.

Ok, so it's a wee bit naff but she loved it and it's free and that's fab!

Enjoy.

It is great isn't it?

DS (5) watched with wide eyes and was amazed by it all.

Even DD who is 10 and starting to question the whole FC thing couldn't quite work out how her photo and details were there on the screen.

I also sent DP one which he found highly amusing as the options for "naughty" adults included one that suited him down to the ground (spending too much time working on his bike)

This is fab! Thank you

We always enjoy tracking Santa on the NORAD radar on Christmas Eve too!

The NORAD website is fab too! Long may the childish innocence continue

Ok don't make one of thos Santa visits when you are pregnant I got all terful watching it back thinking about how excited DD will be when I show her after school.

sweetkitty · 10/12/2009 12:17

We did this a few days ago, DD1 who is 5 was spellbound that Santa had a picture of her in her school uniform and knew she was 5.

CarmenSanDiego · 10/12/2009 12:22

I've done one for all mine - 8, 6 and baby! Think I'll plug the computer into the telly and get them all to come and watch tomorrow after school. So excited

sunnyshine · 10/12/2009 12:26

how do you get the photo on? wont let me upload or even give an option?

DoesntChristmasDragOn · 10/12/2009 12:30

why is there no option for naughty children though?

IneedacleanerIamalazyslattern · 10/12/2009 12:31

There was a browse button on mine pressed that and it brought my documents/pictures folder.

DoesntChristmasDragOn · 10/12/2009 12:31

I've just deleted the one I did for DS1 - the email comes through saying I've sent it to him!

hotcrossbunny · 10/12/2009 12:49

This is lovely. I did it last year. But I can't get my photo to come up this time. I've browsed, selected one, pressed open and it looks like it's uploading but nothing appears on the screen What am I doing wrong????

IneedacleanerIamalazyslattern · 10/12/2009 13:16

Doesntchristmas make it again and when it asks for your name put Father Christmas/Santa in the name box.

babyOcho · 10/12/2009 13:31

Love it!

Sagacious · 10/12/2009 18:35

Took ages to load then crashed... and then... and then... the magic happened... even my cynical 7 year old was spellbound

5 year old entranced

Thanks for the link !!

shootfromthehip · 10/12/2009 21:15

Glad your LOs were as delighted as mine.

'Merry Christmas to us all' (in dodgy cockney accent...
