Most "trendy" jewellery for 13yo niece?

I have a niece (on DH's side) who we haven't seen since she was 7. (Long story, don't get me started!)

I do still send a token gift at Birthday and Christmas, but I have no idea what she'd like. She's now 13 and I was thinking of some fashion jewellery (needs to be light to post). Which shops are most popular with 13yo girls? Would Top Shop do it or am I way off the mark?

Breo watches are quite cool and down with the kids. They are a tenner on Amazon and great for posting too. Just an idea.

the site charms4you (can't do links) has lovely charm bracelets you can customise
to suit. they look like the nominations
bracelets but a fraction of the price.
