Do any of those nice wooden toy tills work and make satisfying pinging noises?

I want to get dd a till for christmas. there are some very nice looking wooden ones around but are they as good as the plastic elc etc ones in terms of pings etc?

We have the Fisher Price retro looking plastic one (we got it in Argos) and it does have a good ping to it
