Not as mad as it sounds - it goes around the bottom of the tree and hides the wires and the stand.

I want a white one or a silver and white one - not to twee but fairly neutral, and also reasonable in price!

Has anyone bought one this year - I have ben to two places selling christmas stuff and they have looked at me blankly!

I have seen them in loads of places but not white/silver that I can remember. All the garden centres local to us which are currently stuffed with Christmas stuff have them - also possibly Cargo/Next?

Just buy a length of suitable material and cut to size? John Lewis have some red or green sparkly mesh for under £3 per metre.

Lapsedrunner · 05/12/2009 21:31

ops, didn't see white/silver but I'm sure you can get that by the metre

Stinkyfeet · 05/12/2009 21:33

Homebase definitely have white ones - I saw them there this morning - can't find it on their website though!

andirobobo · 05/12/2009 21:48

Nothing in Next.

Will try Homebase - didnt see them last week but wasnt really looking for them then!

I could make one, but want a thicker on - like velvet material!

Not that I am fussy or anything!

Saw some at our local garden centre today

Garden centres, DIY stores, those Christmas shops that pop up in December and TK Maxx. All places I have seen them.

Stinkyfeet · 05/12/2009 22:07

John Lewis

purpleduckUnderTheMistletoe · 05/12/2009 22:08

TK Maxx have tons!!!

DecorHate · 06/12/2009 07:48

Yes TK Maxx always have them but they tend to be in rich colours and quite "traditional". If you are looking for something more modern I would try Cargo or John Lewis

andirobobo · 06/12/2009 21:54

See that John Lewis one is fab but I was wanting one for half that price!

Will have to go out hunting tomorrow!

Thought I remembered this thread. The John Lewis one is now half that price!

SleighBelleDameSansMerci · 21/12/2009 09:17

Was just going to post that B&Q had them and were reduced. So, that's two for B&Q...
