supermarket mulled wine

Are any of them nicer than make your own? I am feeling very lazy and have a mulled wine party on Sunday PLUS it's cheaper than making your own.

Specifically I am wondering about Tescos own.

i prefer to make my own (if i've got the time) particularly i you want a less alcholic version (i did when i was pregnant)Rather than just using orange jiuce with the red wine try using a mix of orange and pineapple juice - very nice!

Not tried Tescos but we got a litre of mulled wine from Lidl £3.49 I think, and it was really lovely.

DH usually spends ages making a big thing of making his own mulled wine but I think he only does it to get out of other jobs its a bit of a waste of time - he agreed the Lidl stuff is just as nice. And it comes in festive german style bottle.

Well I've just bought 6ltr of Lidl Mulled wine. If it isn't nice I'm tracking you down FimbleHobbs.

I usually get M and S or sainsburys and add a dollop of courvoisier. mmmm...

There will be added brandy....
