Walkie talkies that work, but don't cost a fortune

Dd2 (6) would like walkie talkies for Christmas off Grandma.

Usual spend is around £20 - can anyone recommend any that actually work but must be £20 or less?

TIA

Hi,
we tried lots of kids walkie talkies for my son and they never worked. Ended up buying two way radios which were great but much more expensive.

That's what I suspected really

Thanks

we got a set of 4 (don't know what the difference is between walkie talkie and two-way radio - sorry...) from tchibo last year for i think 9.99. they are fine - we use them when we go skiing lol. there was a red one, a blue one, a yellow one, and er... another one. (in ski bag, can't be bothered to dig it out....)

cheap as chips. they might have some on the website - i think they had them the year before as well...
