When are the deccies going up???

Probably been done already but when do yours go up??

Up till last year only put mine up the weekend before xmas, sometimes that would mean the day before xmas eve. Its not that im baa humbug, but it just seems difficult to maintain the festivity - we put it up early last year and i have to say, the glitz had worn off by xmas - so when do you do yours?

Someone opposite me had their tree up mid november - mad, of course they might be away for xmas or something.

i put my decs up on monday night. i have not put my tree up yet though lazy bitch but that will go up next week sometime i expect

St Nicolas is coming Sunday, so we have agreed with dd (uberexcited) to do them tomorrow night. Plan is takeaway, tree decorating, then Wallee is on TV here....Even I am a bit excited

most of mine are up already (we have 2 trees and have 1 up) dd couldnt wait a day longer so we did it on tuesday.

Tree tomorrow but can't find the ligts. Every year is the same - never remember where I put the lights and end up having to go and get some new ones

Weekend 12th/13th for us. Not too early not too late IMO.
twolittlekings You can have mine. I'm going to tell DH that I lost them. We got a really really long one not very bright that sent me potty last year Apparently they were a bargain. Had the old one for about 12 yrs but they died. I'm not going to decorate the whole house in one go just the tree then other little bits as they week goes on.
