When can I put my Christmas tree up?

I wanted it up for when we go and see Christmas Carol.

Normally we do the first weekend in Dec.

If it's artificial, any time you like. If it's real, depends on how long you want to be watering it and brushing up pine-needles!

One of my neighbours has theirs up already and it looks lovely! I'm itching to put up some (non-Christmas tree) decorations but need to get them out of the loft first...

We are doing ours on Saturday, some people put them up last weekend (which is a bit early).

Mine went up yesterday, after a bit of nagging from dd, 'Pleeeaaase Mummy!' Figured we were into December so gave in, is the earliest I've ever put it up! Having said that feels all nice, warm and twinkly in the house now, great in this freezing weather!

i am beyond excited already, and was wondering if i couldn't maybe drag the boxes out so that i can look at them for the rest of the week.

and we're going to see the nutcracker on saturday too. my life is complete!

decemeber that'll be the 13th month, clearly.

we bought a real one in a pot on monday, but i resisted the urge to decorate it until this afternoon

we are putting ours up this weekend. took huge willpower not to buy one last weekend. but was determined to make sure it was december before we did. decorations out and really excited!

We're putting ours up this weekend too. We usually put it up later but we're too excited this year! I think it's because DD (2) is really into Christmas this year.

Ds assembled ours last night while I was MNing very busy. It is still naked though so will put a couple of decorations on each day.

Yay Saturday it is for us too!!! Normally very grown up and wait till the weekend before Christmas but DD (2.5) is so keen she's decorating all the house plants with any bling she can find. Now where did my braclet go?

The people down the street have had illuminated reindeer on their lawn for a week now so it must be OK.
