Have you tried solar powered fairy lights?

Just wondering if they need actual uncloudy direct sunlight to work properly? I guess they're really made for summer parties rather than Christmas decorations?

used them camping in the summer. doesnt need to be sunny, but does need to be bright to charge them up (they last longer if its been sunny though)
