Not sure this Lego advent calendar was a great idea

Ds has been SO excited, since he knew it was coming...yesterday was a roaring success with a cool pirate inside, but today he woke up ready for something else brilliant, and got...a desk...

He is sitting sobbing on the sofa saying over and over again, 'No one would be excited about a DESK'

I wonder why I bothered now.

LOL! I was disappointed last time we got got one but I bought one again this year. DS hasn't remembered yet though. He is only just up. Will see what he thinks!

My husband will be so disappointed, too. (The daughter is too small for advent calendars, but who says adults can't have them...)

DS's is a Lego City one and he got a man with snowballs yesterday.

DD has a Playmobil Fairy and Unicorn one.

DH and I are sharing a previously owned Playmobil one . But he has left for work already and didn't open his box. I am tempted

Adora - yes, it has the mermaid and surprisingly ds is keen to have her too. He is usually vehemently opposed to anything girly! You get 8 figures in it so I guess that's one every 3 days or so...he really, really wanted the skeleton!
