Novelt socks, pretty pants and vest, candy cane, glow sticks, magic musical fairy wand, cute cutlery, lovely plastic mug from disney store, choc pennies, mini box of novelty cereal, so far...

I love buying stocking fillers...

newlark · 01/12/2009 15:33

Dd will be just three but like last year am trying to keep it reasonably modest and simple - satsuma, chocolate coins, nursery rhyme hankies, bubble bath, notepad and pencil, wooden bead necklace and bracelet so far and not planning to get anything else unless I spot something really good. I have a 14 mth old too and need his to look simliar in quantity and excitement (and don't want to raise expectations too high for future years!).

in stocking of nearly 2yo ds2:

packet of chocolate biscuits
Playmobil toy car
few Matchbox toy cars
little soft toy dragon
toothbrush
few small books
carriages for train set

I've gone to great lengths to give him the same, or as near as dammit, to ds1 to avoid squabbles.

claraquack · 01/12/2009 16:12

Everyone is so organised already, I am shocked.

So far I have a Little Einsteins DVD and a little packet of 4 Winnie the Pooh books. Was thinking also candy cane and some kind of fruit because we always got an orange as children. Otherwise will just see what I get when I go shopping....

Gracie123 · 01/12/2009 16:13

Wow. I was hoping to get away with a tangerine, some raisins, a colouring book and some crayons.

Fortunately DS doesn't have any cousins yet, so I probably still will!!

Gracie123 · 01/12/2009 16:14

Might throw in some bubbles if I am feeling particularly generous...

Northernlurker · 01/12/2009 16:15

For dd3 so far I have
That's not my polar bear
Toddler bible
Spinning top
Wee Schleich (sp?) plastic model cat
bath toys
Very small cheap baby doll
Gruffalo floor puzzle

Still to get:

Socks and/or tights

Crayons

Drawing book

Chocolate coins

Tikkabillajive · 01/12/2009 16:22

So far I've got him:

Some little cars
A Playmobil diver
Peppa Pig cutlery
2 Peppa Pig books (free from Muller Little Stars!)
A ball that flashes
A big tube of choc buttons
A sugar mouse

Other things I'm thinking of getting:
Pants
Apron
Stickers
Tangerine
Tin trumpet
Maybe a dvd (Cars or yet more Peppa Pig!)
A wooden dinosaur

I could go on forever - 2 is such a brilliant age isn't it and everywhere I go I see little things he'd love. I probably already have more than will fit in his stocking though!

dairymoo · 01/12/2009 16:25

missorinoco · 02/12/2009 11:15

Stocking????
Aagh!
Guess I haven't finished my Xmas shopping yet....

WeThreeNinks · 02/12/2009 11:25

DH thinks it's pointless hanging a stocking up by DS's cot (he's 2.5) but I think I'll do it anyway as we might get an extra half hour of sleep.

I've got bath beans for Christmas Eve, and the Happyland Christmas figures. Might get a few more things now

ShowOfHands · 02/12/2009 11:26

2.6yr old dd...

Flannel
Toothbrush
Bubble bath
Trumpet
Puzzles
A foam flying dinosaur thingy
Magnet
Chocolate coins
Mini stamps and ink
Bouncy ball
Glow in the dark stars
Stickers

She's only getting a stocking, no presents apart from something I'm making for her and we had a rule of £1 or under for stocking presents. I'm really pleased with it.

ShowOfHands · 02/12/2009 11:27

And obviously a satsuma and some nuts.
