Do you buy it ready made or make your own?

Do you use champagne or sparkling wine?

Any particular kind of orange juice?

tassisssss · 30/11/2009 22:06

pagwatch · 01/12/2009 09:51

orange juice and champagne. But not really good stuff

ZippysMum · 01/12/2009 09:52

tesco cava and freshly squeezed oj (from a bottle, not squeezed by us)
mmmmmmmm

pagwatch · 01/12/2009 09:53

The only reason I don't cheat is because I don't like the blend quantities and I think it is more expensive because a lot of what is in the bottle is cheap OJ.
If I wanted to do it based on being economical I would buy decent sparkling wine and OJ and mix.

thedollshouse · 01/12/2009 09:54

I find the ready made stuff too sickly and sweet but as I am pregnant this year I think I will go for the ready made stuff as it is low in alcohol.

Bettymum · 01/12/2009 10:54

Cheap sparking wine and good quality orange juice with "bits" although this year as I'm pg too (hello thedollshouse!) I will be going heavy on the OJ and just putting a little sparkle in. The benefit of making your own is that you can mix it to taste - and I wouldn't be surprised if it worked out cheaper in the end.

Intresting how everyone does it differently
