Following on from the 2yr old girl thread ... what dolls prams would you recommend for 19 mth olds?

Have got the DT's Baby Annabell Tender Kisses dolls as part of their present ... they're sooo into teddies it's unbelievable so reckon the dolls ought to be a hit.

Would like prams for them ... don't mind if they're a little big now and I need to put them away for a couple of months. Looked at Silver Cross prams but they seemed really flimsy. Maybe they're all of that quality. Any recommendations please?

It seems mad to consider two of the same but I reckon they'll really want their own and fight like crazy if there's one pram and say a cradle or highchair etc. Baby Annabell do a pram/cot for My First Baby Annabell but maybe we'd be better buying the regular pram ... however, it's pretty ££.

So, all suggestions/recommendations welcome! Thanks!

I'd get two cheap dolls buggies from ELC, until they learn not to crash them into the furniture! Wait until they're older for a better quality pram.

I have just got DD a Graco one from Wilkinsons it looked alot better than the tesco one I had looked at. They are £7.50 so if she manages to wreck it in 6 months then I won't feel so bad about wasting money.

Pepper pig dolls pram is lovely for a little girl it's very small but just the right size for a 19mth old

I have got DD3 who's 17 months and am getting her the little Peppa Pig pram.

The other two have Silver Cross big prams that live in the shed and hardly get played with.

The biggest hits have been £5 Asda buggies or the £15 Baby Born Buggies.

ELC do a first pram as well, DD1 had that at 17 months it's a good size as well.

Thanks for the replies ... have looked at both Peppa Pig and ELC. The ELC gets good reviews. The Peppa Pig looks lovely too and is like the Baby Annabell first pram. Must make a decision and order!

I got DS (17 months) a lovely pink one from Asda for £5. He loves crashing into the walls / sofa / anything in his path.

Hadn't thought too much about the crashing aspect until I read your replies ... now giving it serious consideration!!

My DTs had the buggies from ELC (about £6 if I remember rightly?) they fold up really small which is great for storage or travelling. Had them over a year now and love them - been v good value. Can put toys in them for a walk, and now my DD hangs a bag over the handle!

Also, they were great for encouraging walking - they'd push them at top speed around the park, but would dawdle and whine to be carried without them.

They are 2.6 and we still use them every day. Probably the best value toy.
