What puts you in a festive mood?

I never feel all that excited about Christmas until after the Christmas parade in my town. When all the floats go past my house and I see all the children dressed as elves looking embarassed and dancing half-heartedly to Slade, it always makes me feel festive.

The Muppet Christmas Carol movie does it too.

Just remembered the other thing that makes me go all soppy and want to cover my house in tinsel - O Little Town of Bethlehem. Awwww. Best carol ever.

I know what you mean Citizen, I feel like I really should hate that film, but it does have the festive glow about it.
