Gigglewitch - we bought DD an ipod shuffle before we went on holiday this summer and used a proper pair of head phones (Daddy's very expensive ones) and she was just 3.

There are no moving parts in a shuffle and because the little square ones have a clip she could clip it to her clothing so she didn't lose it.

I put on a mix of songs and stories and just made sure it wasn't on shuffle mode so they played in order. It was a big help on the plane and she's used it a lot since.

Thepinkone DD has got that fairy boot and she absolutely loves it. Hours of fun (and peace and quiet)

This year she is getting the rosebud cottage from ELC and a few other little bits and pieces from her brothers and sister

dd1 is getting a kidizoom from grandma & abuelo, a dora bedding set form grandad & has had her christmas party dress from my mum plus probably a jigsaw or something to open.

From father christmas she is getting Dora laptop - £7 with littlewoods offer,

From us she has a scary amount of dora things, furry backpack with explorer stuff inside (binoculars etc), dora beanie doll & colour match thing - all ebay & less than £10 in total. A Stephanie costume, a barbie microphone & disney princess jigsaw

My goodness typing that seems rather a lot but we have spent less than £30 on her. She will get lost from family too so I guess we need to start thinking about moving house!!

She has made a christmas list - cutting things out of catalogues & sticking on a v large sheet of paper & her wished for items seem to have to conform to the following criteria!
Disney princess
Peppa
Dora
Hello Kitty
Anything pink

Bonsoir - do you know of any UK stockists for the Corelle dolls? My DTs have the Tidoo ones and I'd love to get them some new clothes for Christmas...

stealthsquiggle · 30/11/2009 14:23

DairyMoo - some people on this thread found me some Corolle stockists - although actually Amazon.co.uk has a not unreasonable selection.

imagine - spot on, that sounds very familiar!
