i like a fusion tree, i have collected lotsof bits over the yrs, so that we have lots of colours goin on. Bit like a quality street box! Turquoise, silver, green, red and cerise, gold and silver.

I will be looking out for purple this year too.

I have butterflies, and other little animals too.

My table this year is cheesy red with Father xmas on, and the same with my crackers. Went a bit more posh last yr with white and gold, but only me dd and my sis this yr so really want to be a big kid!!

All the baubles and tinsel on our Christmas tree are purple and silver plus whatever decorations the children have made at school over the years. We also have ceiling decorations, don't think many other poeple have those now, that are purple and silver.

Tablecloth is usually whatever one the kids pick, last year it was white with a blue runner. Need a new one this year.

yes - i heart ceiling decorations, we will have plenty to make it extra magic for DD.

pigleychez · 30/11/2009 16:50

My theme is White and silver.. On the tree and the table.

However now we have DD (16mths) and another on the way im guessing my tree will become a multi coloured one with plenty of homemade decs on it within a few years - Unless I can persuade DD to decorate her homemade things in just silver and white

Tree is a mish mash of mainly wooden decorations, no baubles, we have things like metal skiing reindeer as well and DS's homemade ones. No tinsel on tree.

Table this year will be white and silver.

ThatVikRinA22 · 30/11/2009 17:18

table this year, red. white tablecloth. red runner, red candles, red charger plates and white and red crockery.

tree same as always - i love it - have amassed a fab collection of glass baubles in chocolate browns, creams, golds and bronze. plain white twinkly lights and a gorgeous bushy tree.

oooo im all aglow now....is it time to open the baileys yet?

Every year I YEARN for a theme. Then DH joins in and it turns into a multi-coloured hotch-potch of everything. We even argued about coloured vs white lights for the tree (he won. Grrr) I have now given in. DTs are 3 this year, so I suppose multi-coloured hotch-potch will be just up their street.

Maybe in about 20 years when they've left home and I'm in charge again.

EvilTwins, I love my mish mash tree!
I cried when my Mom ditched the childish decs and went themed (I was about 15 ).
As soon as I had my own house I started collecting my childish toy figures, I was 23, so about 7 years before I even had the dS's

Go with it........
