Nintendo DS lite - What games for 7yo DD?

After lots of deliberation and help from MNetters we have finally decided on a DS lite for DD.

What games would you recommend? She will be 8yo in April, is a girly girl, likes HSM, Mamma Mia, anything to do with art, and dogs.

Is Nintendogs worth the money?

Not sure which games are the best for that age range..... but I alway go to GAME and they have a preowend bit the games are all tested and boxed with the instructions so they always work and look new but they are half the price.

My dd (7) LOVES her Tinkerbell game!!!! Fantastic fun and not hard. your DD may want animal crossing which is also fun - nintendogs is pretty hard because they have to make the spoken command sound the same each time. Junior brain training is very educational as well as fun and the new game Pandora's Box will be in DD's stocking this year .

Bogie
We are not in UK, I would have to send my (longsuffering) Mum into town and get her to post them.

Thanks Sal, will have a look at those.

It is so difficult to decide, just by looking at the boxes isn't it?
