Did you do a christmas list as a child ?

I don't think I ever did , I did make strong hints about what I would like , but I don't remember ever actually writing a list and posting it off to the big man in the red suit ?

I am sure I do loads more faffy stuff with my children than my mum ever did .

I also don't remember her ever having to actually make a costume for the nativity either .

no, we just waited to see what FC would bring us. It was certainly not much compared to the amount children have today. I think we had about 4 presents.

yes me and my brother both wrote christmas lists. it was for my auntie and uncle and people like that really so that they knew what to get us. we still all do it for each other now actually, makes life easier.

Well we did used to get a lot to open but it was of the quantity not quality type .

I was just thinking about all the stupid stuff I do now for my boys , most of which is good fun but certainly never done for me and I didn't feel deprived because I hadn't made reindeer food or the like .

We wrote lists, we got one main present and then a sack with things like colouring books, pens, pj's, dressing gowns and playdough in.

We got a lot of presents from family and friends (dad knew a lot of people), most of them were items of clothing or sweets.

Mum made us Halloween outfits (which we wore every year for 5 years) but i can't remember her making x-mas/nativity outfits.

We wrote a list then my dad posted it on his way to work after my mum had checked my spelling
