DS is obsessed with where places are in relation to each other. Am hoping a really good map will help!

Either a really good quality poster OR a more interactive type affair with stuff he can stick to it.

Crikey I am not very eloquent this morning.

Anybody have any suggestions?

TIA

My DS was the same at that age. Rymans used to have 'office wall' type maps, which were quite useful because the detail was there, and they are laminated/plastic covered.

DS moved on to a world map, which he has on his bedroom wall with small stickers showing where people have been (yellow= Daddy, Re = Mummy, etc.) You could do the same sort of thing with a UK map to show where people live?

If Rymans don't have them, I am sure you'll find one online.

why not jsut get a globe? My 4yos absolutely adore the globe int he library, and it'd make a good xmas pressie.

Sainsbury's- I bought 2 large poster maps for 5 year old DS a couple of months ago. 1 was a world one and the other one UK. V. clear and great for the money, they were 2 for 1 and I paid £3 or £4 for them both. It was a large Sainsburys.
