Battle strikers - any good

Thinking of getting them for DS (8). Any good. Thought they might be fun to play with friends but do they use hundreds of batteries, fall to bits in a week etc etc.

Can you buy/ collect new spinning tops.

Anyone?

No idea how good they are but DS1 has some for Christmas. You can buy individual top for about £4.99 but need the starter set 1st.

Sorry, waste of money - for my DS anyway.

But he is an only so can't really play with anyone except me. And I get bored easily.

Sure they would be great with siblings.

But his is shoved under the bed gathering dust... and he hasn't asked where it is since I shoved it there.
